This is a multidisciplinary research project developed in The Rio de Janeiro State University. The E-FOTO project has two pillars: self-learning and gratuity. This dissertation evaluates the quality of the photogrammetric measurements performed by the 1.0β integrated version of the E-FOTO software. One photogrammetric blocks of airborne imagery: the former photogrammetric dataset is assembled from 12 photograms of the city of Serop{\'e}dica-RJ, flown in 2005. The photogrammetric measurements taken in the E-FOTO were compared with those taken using the Leica Photogrammetry Suite (LPS 2010) commercial software. The ground truth is a set of 30 ground testing points (GCP) measured with a geodetic, dual frequency receiver of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS/GPS). A digital photogrammetric mapping procedure was used to evaluate the E-FOTO software. For doing so, both interior and exterior orientation parameters of every image were computed. The photogrammetric computation of object-space coordinates of testing points was performed in the 1.64 version of the stereo plotter module of the E-FOTO. The comparisons of the results of the E-FOTO measurements with those taken from the LPS software can be considered identical, at the confidence level of 95%. Entretanto, o processo de crescimento de regi{\~a}o pode ser interrompido em regi{\~o}es da imagem, cuja paralaxe no eixo horizontal apresenta varia{\c{c}}{\~a}o abrupta. Essa situa{\c{c}}{\~a}o geralmente {\'e} causada por uma descontinuidade na superf{\'i}cie ou espa{\c{c}}o-objeto imageado, tal como um pr{\'e}dio numa cena urbana ou um pared{\~a}o de explora{\c{c}}{\~a}o de uma mina a c{\'e}u aberto. Nesses casos, novos pares de pontos hom{\'o}logos (sementes) devem ser introduzidos, normalmente por um operador humano, a partir dos quais o processo {\'e} reiniciado. Dependendo do tipo da imagem utilizada e da estrutura 3D da regi{\~a}o mapeada, a interven{\c{c}}{\~a}o humana pode ser consider{\'a}vel. Uma alternativa totalmente automatizada em que se combinam as t{\'e}cnicas SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform), pareamento por m{\'i}nimos quadrados e crescimento de regi{\~a}o foi proposta anteriormente pelos autores. O presente trabalho apresenta uma extens{\~a}o a essa t{\'e}cnica. Basicamente, prop{\~o}em-se altera{\c{c}}{\~o}es na etapa de correspond{\^e}ncia do SIFT, que exploram caracter{\'i}sticas de estereogramas produzidos por sensores a{\'e}reos e orbitais. Avalia{\c{c}}{\~o}es experimentais demonstram que as modifica{\c{c}}{\~o}es propostas trazem dois tipos de benef{\'i}cios. As solu{\c{c}}{\~o}es fotogram{\'e}tricas se tornaram mais compactas e vers{\'a}teis. A esta{\c{c}}{\~a}o fotogram{\'e}trica digital educacional E-FOTO {\'e} um projeto multidisciplinar, em desenvolvimento no laborat{\'o}rio de Fotogrametria Digital da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, que se baseia em dois pilares: autoaprendizado e gratuidade. Este trabalho tem o objetivo geral de avaliar a qualidade das medi{\c{c}}{\~o}es fotogram{\'e}tricas utilizando a vers{\~a}o integrada 1.0β do E-FOTO. Para isso foram utilizados dois blocos de fotografias de regi{\~o}es distintas do planeta: um bloco de fotografias (2005) do munic{\'i}pio de Serop{\'e}dica-RJ e um bloco de fotografias antigas (1953) da regi{\~a}o de Santiago de Compostela, na Espanha. Os resultados obtidos com o E-FOTO foram comparados com os resultados do software comercial de fotogrametria digital Leica Photogrammetry Suite (LPS 2010) e com as coordenadas no espa{\c{c}}o-objeto de pontos medidos com posicionamento global por sat{\'e}lite (verdade de campo). Sendo poss{\'i}vel avaliar as metodologias dos softwares na obten{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos par{\^a}metros das orienta{\c{c}}{\~o}es interior e exterior e na determina{\c{c}}{\~a}o da exatid{\~a}o das coordenadas no espa{\c{c}}o-objeto dos pontos de verifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o obtidas no m{\'o}dulo estereoplotter vers{\~a}o 1.64 do E-FOTO. Os resultados obtidos com a vers{\~a}o integrada 1.0β do E-FOTO na determina{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos par{\^a}metros das orienta{\c{c}}{\~o}es interior e exterior e no c{\'a}lculo das coordenadas dos pontos de verifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o, sem a inclus{\~a}o dos par{\^a}metros adicionais e a autocalibra{\c{c}}{\~a}o s{\~a}o compat{\'i}veis com o processamento realizado com o software LPS. As diferen{\c{c}}as dos par{\^a}metros X0 e Y0 obtidos na orienta{\c{c}}{\~a}o exterior com o E-FOTO, quando comparados com os obtidos com o LPS, incluindo os par{\^a}metros adicionais e a autocalibra{\c{c}}{\~a}o da c{\^a}mara fotogram{\'e}trica, n{\~a}o s{\~a}o significativas. Em fun{\c{c}}{\~a}o da qualidade dos resultados obtidos e de acordo com o Padr{\~a}o de Exatid{\~a}o Cartogr{\'a}fica, seria poss{\'i}vel obter um documento cartogr{\'a}fico Classe A em rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\`a} planimetria e Classe B em rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\`a} altimetria na escala 1/10.000, com o projeto Rural e Classe A em rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\`a} planimetria e Classe C em rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\`a} altimetria na escala 1/25.000, com o Projeto Santiago de Compostela. E-FOTO users are offered access to practical software applications of theoretical issues and concepts in the field of Digital Photogrammetry. The project also has an Internet home page from which aerial photographs, camera calibration certificates and other technical data can be downloaded, thus allowing users to fully experience the software. The webpage also provides access to different articles and publications derived from the project development.
